All parents, whose kid has been labeled hyperactive and prescribed methylphenidate, must be conscious of the warnings in relation to this ominous psychiatric medicine.

All parents whose child has been labeled hyperactive, and prescribed the pediatric drug methylphenidate, must be aware of the DEA and INBC (the International Narcotics Board Control of the UN) alerts in relation to this ominous psychiatric medicine. (1) (6).

Methylphenidate produces stimuli similar to cocaine in human models and animals; in addition, cocaine and methylphenidate are interchanged with each other in these models (1) (2) (3) (4).

The chronic administration of methylphenidate produces toxic psychomotor stimulation, weight loss, stereotyped behavior and death (1).

Neither humans nor animals can differentiate between cocaine, amphetamines and methylphenidate, when they are administered to them in the same way, in comparable doses. In synthesis their effects are practically identical. (1)

More than 30 years of studies indicate that methylphenidate, in an unequivocal way, has a high risk of becoming an addictive substance, like amphetamines and cocaine, because humans as well as animals tend to auto administer them. (1)

In clinical studies, it was confirmed that methylphenidate affects the conduct and psyche creating a reinforcement compulsion, similar to cocaine (1).

Methylphenidate is molecularly similar to amphetamines and cocaine and equally addictive because cellular receptors accept it like their molecular substitute. In fact, it can replace cocaine and amphetamines in clinical studies. Therefore it is catalogued as a type II stimulant by the DEA. (1).

Methylphenidate predisposes the infant to cocaine consumption as an adult. (5) (6)

This drug is preferred by primates - to cocaine- according to clinical studies (1).

In Sweden methylphenidate use was abolished in 1968, because consumers incurred in uncontrolled abuse.

Grade school students use it, because of its cocaine type effect.

The effectiveness of has never been verified since it's massively prescribed for a nonexistent disease: ADHD: Attention Disorder Deficit and Hyperactivity.

The marketing of the ADHD diagnose in children was created as a trade tool to commercialize this and other drugs.

The not-for-profit organizations created to promote the indiscriminate use of receive great amounts of money from the manufacturers. A well-known example of these organizations is CHAADD -Child and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder.

Methylphenidate is one of the ten most stolen drugs in the world and is the object of substance abuse on behalf of health care professionals and addicts in the street.

Similar situations exist with amphetamines, commonly prescribed to children.

The infantile psychiatric drug is the hidden enemy: the seed of a future tragedy, the present opium of cities. Do not allow your son to turn into an addict.
