Weight-lifting helps to improve the quality of life of women who have undergone a breast cancer, according to a study published recently by the medical magazine ' Cancer '.

 

Four of every five women who lift weights two times per week improved their life conditions, says the report, however, only half of the participants who did not follow this exercise routine improved.

The scientists assured that the 80 percent of the patients who lift weights twice per week they improved their score in a quality of life examination.

The women who have survived chest cancer often undergo a series of sequels such as insomnia, weight gain, chronic fatigue, depression and anxiety.

The investigation carried out at the end of 2001 and beginnings of 2002, was carried out with the collaboration of 86 women of the Minneapolis
