The subject is a male 35 year-old patient, with Diabetes mellitus type I, reason why he received treatment with insulin injections. An important precedent worth mentioning is that in 2005 he was hospitalized with a life threatening diabetic coma, in spite of the insulin use. In addition, the disease was complicated with retinopathy, with a significant loss of vision requiring the use of corrective lenses. On the other hand, he underwent recurrent urinary infections, reason why he used antibiotics routinely.
He attended a consultation at the Adaptógenos Medical Center in Carrizal in June 2006. Glucose in blood values of 300 mg/dl. were observed, in spite of the insulin use.
For these reasons, a Systemic treatment was indicated, based on diet, adaptogens and insulin. The patient evolved satisfactorily and by his own decision, decides to discontinue the insulin injections. In the last medical checkup his blood glucose value was much lower: 130 mg/dl. In the three months that have passed from the beginning of the systemic treatment, the urinary infections have not returned.
El paciente manifestó estar muy emocionado y confesó que antes de llegar al Centro Médico Adaptógenos, sus médicos tratantes habían pronosticado una pronta muerte. The patient was moved and confessed that before arriving at the Medical Center Adaptógenos, his doctors had diagnosed a quick death.
But he was able to find hope and will to here continue fighting.
